::Continued::

Chad
Wienen, his girlfriend Danica, &
his dog Torque in Florida |
ATVRiders.com:
Have you been racing at all?
Chad Wienen:
We’ve been having fun doing some SSQA
races and doing some testing and videos. We
have seen a lot of support when we have gone
to the races and it really means a lot to know
that we have so much support from fans and friends.
Everyone has really stood behind me and it gives
us even more motivation to work hard and do
well. We are going to work hard and build an
even stronger foundation here at Wienen Motorsports.
ATVRiders.com: What
else have you been up to since you’ve
been in Florida?
Chad Wienen:
I’ve been hanging out with Jeremy Lawson.
He comes out and watches me practice and helps
out a lot. We go to his place every weekend
and watch Supercross. It’s been a lot
of fun. Other than that, I’ve just been
busy with training and working on the team.

Pro
ATV MX Pro Racer, Jeremy Lawson, decided
to retire from racing over the winter,
but he was more than willing to help
us with a photoshoot for Chad Wienen |
ATVRiders.com:
Speaking of Jeremy, we have heard he is possibly
pursuing a different profession; in law enforcement!
Chad Wienen:
Yeah, he is thinking about becoming a State
Patrol officer. So be careful when you come
down to Florida. If he sees a race rig, he might
pull you over just to mess with you! Jeremy
hasn’t really hung up his boots yet. He
has actually been helping me train. He loves
to train and that helps me to have a good training
partner on that professional level, but we are
still having fun with it.
ATVRiders.com:
So what are your goals for this year?
Chad Wienen:
As always, I want to win the championship,
but I still want it to be competitive because
that’s what makes it fun. I want to
have it come down to the last round at Loretta’s
and have that competition going all season
long, and take that win and the championship.
We are serious about winning, but we really
want to have fun as well. If you are too serious,
it stops being fun and we really want to keep
it enjoyable.

ATVRiders.com:
Thanks for taking the time to talk to us,
Chad. You sound really happy and it sounds
like you have a great program in place. We
wish you the best in Georgia in a couple of
weeks!
Chad Wienen:
Thank You! Like I said, I feel great and I
am really looking forward to this year!
