Of all the points contenders, Haagsma fared best.
Finishing second, he is now second in points,
just two points behind Thomas.

H&M
Motorsport's David Haagsma finished in the
2nd Spot |
“I had a good battle with everyone in front of
me,” said Haagsma. “RJ was running well and he
beat me by a second or two. It’s hard to lose
that way, but taking the points into consideration,
it was a good weekend.”
Ryan Holz was pleased to record his first Pro
podium of the season. He started well, had a minor
issue and fell back, but rebounded to finish third.

#58
Ryan Holz scored a podium finish in the
WORCS Pro UTV class |
“I got a great start, made a small mistake and
fell back to fourth,” said Holz. “I had an issue
and brought it in for the podium.”
Cody Bradbury finished sixth after recovering
from a mechanical issue. He is third in the title
chase, six points out of the lead.

Cody Bradbury |
“I needed to come here, do well and maximize
my points,” said Bradbury. “Unfortunately it didn’t
work out that way. I put my head down at the start.
Mickey had an issue. I got past him and I went
into save mode to preserve the car. I had a small
mechanical, got back going and came back for sixth.
I finished ahead of the guys I needed to do. It’s
going to be a free for all come Primm, that’s
for sure.”
Mickey Thomas led the first two laps of the race
before a mechanical issue slowed his charge. He
finished seventh. Interestingly, Thomas hadn’t
planned at the beginning of the season to run
a full WORCS schedule to focus on his Lucas Oil
truck.

Mystik's
#44 Mickey Thomas holds the Pro points lead
heading into the final round |
“I was running first for the first two laps,
but we broke a belt and I finished seventh,” said
Thomas. “We’re in there right now with five other
guys and it’s all going to come down to this last
round. Everyone else had problems, so it worked
out well for me. We kind of fell into this. We
ran the first race and did well, so we kept with
it and here are battling for the championship.
I’d like to get a championship so we’ll have to
keep working for it. We have four races in a row
for the next four weeks between the Lucas Oil
Series, Terracross and WORCS.”
Beau Baron finished 13th after a hard crash took
him out of contention. He now sits sixth in points,
14 out of first. He was complaining of a sore
neck after the tumble.

CST's
Beau Baron wrecked during the Pro race,
which took him out of the race |
“I wanted to pass Piplic, so I chose an alternate
line that a lot of the other guys weren’t using,”
said Baron. “I over jumped the first double, then
I tagged the second one, and it dropped me bad.
I endoed hard and it broke off my front wheel.”
