RJ Anderson Takes Two Wins
at Glen Helen WORCS
::Continued::
Beau Baron debuted a new CST Dingo Tires at Glen
Helen. He said they helped elevate him to his
third podium of the season. “The Polaris RZR was
great,” said Baron. “The thing yanked really well.
Between Sparks and Holz, the thing ripped. I’ve
got these new tires. They’re called CST Dingos
and they’re three pounds lighter.”

Beau Baron scored the final spot on the
WORCS Pro Unlimited UTV Class Podium |
Ryan Holz drove his naturally aspirated car to
a fourth-place finish, marking his second top
five in his part-time WORCS season. He started
on the second row and climbed through the field
consistently.

Walker
Evan's Ryan Holz finished 4th in the Pro
Unlimited Class |
“The car was running flawlessly all race,” said
Holz. “I made some aggressive moves on the moto
track and pushed up past the second row pack.
I tried to be smooth and had a pretty good run.
It was a little boggy at the start, but after
the first corner it was all grins from there.
Nothing is bent, nothing is tweaked and it’s pretty
rough out there. It’s really nice to be back racing
because I live up in Washington and there is no
racing up there in the summer. It felt great to
get back at it.”
Ryan Piplic’s fifth-place finish was enough for
him to win the UTV Pro Unlimited title. The 2015
WORCS Pro SXS champion had a quiet confidence
in taking the title.

Maxxis'
Ryan Piplic clinched the Pro Unlimited Championship
with a Top Five finish |
“My goal was to drive conservative and increase
my points gap,” said Piplic. “I did what I had
to do to win the championship. Two laps to go
I ran into some issues, but I held on to secure
that championship.”
In the Pro Class, RJ Anderson completed the sweep
ahead of David Haagsma. Ryan Holz was third, ahead
of Ryan Piplic and Jeff Obering. However, the
big story is the championship. Mickey Thomas,
who finished seventh after having a mechanical
issue, holds onto the points lead, but by a hair.
In fact, the top five are separated by only 11
points going into the final round.

Polaris'
RJ Anderson finished on the day with the
Pro UTV Win |
RJ Anderson again had to come from the back to
secure the victory. Though Haagsma finished physically
first, Anderson took the win by just two seconds
on adjusted time.
“Super stoked to pull off the double win,” said
Anderson. “Polaris RZR, Holz Racing, and Walker
Evans Shocks gave me a great race car. I have
a long offseason that starts with a double win.
This is my first 1-1. I got it in my fourth try.
I have a blast at these WORCS races. Glen Helen
is rough on me, so if I can tame it, that’s a
good weekend for me.”
