Flores (3rd) |
“I had a good start and grabbed the holeshot.
I saw David Flores coming up behind me. We battled
for a little bit and he got by me. Then the rain
came in but I like the rain so I was able to keep
a good pace and get back by David and take the
win,” said Sloan.

STI's
Mike Sloan finished 3rd overall & claimed
his 6th straight win to remain undefeated
in the Pro-Am Class for 2015, which extends
his points lead to 34 points |
Alex Ortiz had a good weekend and came on strong
despite the rain that moved in. Ortiz was riding
smooth and consistent and held down the number
three spot for several laps before taking over
second. Once in second, Ortiz began to close in
on the leader, Mike Sloan but ran out of time
before he was able to get close enough to make
a move and finished in second place.

& finished 2nd in the Pro-Am class as
he continues to get faster with each round |
LSR Racing’s David Flores was in second off the
start and immediately started to challenge mike
Sloan for the lead. Flores got by and started
pulling away, but the rain moved in and he began
to have issues and fell back for a third place
finish. “We were battling hard the first lap and
I took the lead for about three laps. As soon
as the rain moved in, it was really cold and it
cooled me off too fast and I started having issues
out there. I ended up finishing in third, but
I am really happy that I finished,” said Flores.

LSR
Racing's held the early lead, but the rain
caused him issues & he dropped back
to a third place finish |
Pro Motorsports’ Matt Hancock was in third off
the start but in the third corner, Hancock was
hit from behind and the two quads got stuck together,
sending Hancock to the back of the pack. “I had
a great start and someone came into me and we
got hooked up. It took a while to separate us
and I was dead last. I got back on though and
just put my head down and pushed hard. Some of
the slower traffic was tough to deal with and,
I was pretty bummed because I was ready for this
race, but I was able to get back up to fourth,”
said Hancock, who is still in second in points
despite the setback.

Maxxis'
Matt Hancock lost over a minute in the first
lap when another racer locked wheels with
him, but he charged his way back to a fourth
