2013 WORCS Racing Round #9 - Buffalo Bills October 13, 2013 Primm, NV

Going into this weekend, there was a narrow points battle between Grant Mitchell and Bryce Peart in the Pro-Am class, pushing these two racers to give all they had for the win. In order to win the championship, Mitchell had to take the win today. Mitchell was the only Pro- Am rider to finish the race on the lead lap with the pros just before the checkered flag dropped. Peart started near the back of the pack, but battled his way up to the top spots and finished fourth this weekend.

“Last time we were here, I crashed and had some problems. Today I lost the front brakes for the entire race, but  I did what I needed to do to get the win for the championship, and I can’t thank Maxxis, Sparks, Elka, Tireblocks, and all my other sponsors for making this championship possible ,” said Mitchell after the win.

Mike Sloan placed second at Buffalo Bills WORCS on his Honda 450R ATV.

Mike Sloan finished in the second position after a great battle for the lead with Grant Mitchell.  David Flores finished third, following just a minute behind Sloan and one second in front of Peart. Chandler Waxman rounded out the top five in the Pro-Am class.

The 2013 season was another exciting season of racing with Beau Baron coming back next year to defend his championship along with Grant Mitchell who will remain in the Pro-Am class running his number one plate. It will be interesting to see which riders will fight for the championship in the 2014 WORCS series.
