“Nelson, Row and I were all battling. I saw Row pushing his quad back to the pits and that was when I got second. I just put my head down because I wanted to do good on this last round,” said Zimmerman after his second place finish.

“I caught up to Robbie, and he roosted me with a huge rock that hit me right in the stomach. It kind of knocked the wind out of me and it also pulled my kill tether out, which stalled the bike. I also had a lapper that didn’t see me and pulled right out in front of me. I ended up hitting him and our quads got tangled up,” said Nelson after his third place finish.

DWT Racer Robbie Mitchell grabbed the Holeshot on his Honda 450R ATV |
Robbie Mitchell took the fourth place position this weekend after grabbing the holeshot at the beginning of the race on his #8 LMR Honda. He had a great race early on, but his stomach started to give him issues and forced him to slow down on lap eight. Later in the race, he realized his shocks weren’t quite right and running them too soft really began to beat him up, wearing him out even more.
“I wanted to at least podium this weekend and really wanted to win. This is usually my worst track, so I am happy with fourth,” said Mitchell after the race.
Collins Webster rounded out the top five this weekend after running in sixth most of the race and passing for fifth on lap nine, which was his season’s best finish. Webster is also a local to the area, residing in Las Vegas. The finish today at Primm helped him gain momentum going into next season on his Can-Am DS450.
