Even though his teammate took the lead early
                                on, Can-Am/Motoworks’ Josh Frederick was
on a mission to win. Frederick was just outside
of the top five and quickly began picking off
the competition one by one. Frederick made his
way into the number two spot, and followed David
Haagsma, who was in the lead. Just before the
one hour mark, Haagsma began to fade, and Frederick
was in prime position to take over the number
                                one spot.

#2 Josh Frederick quickly charged his way
into the third spot past both #417 Josh
Row & #94 Dustin Nelson | Once out front, Frederick checked out and pulled
a one minute lead over second place Beau Baron
and claimed his first win of the season to pull
Frederick’s into a tie for the points lead
with round one winner, Beau Baron.

#2 Josh Frederick charged his way into the
lead in lap 6 & held it to the checkered
flag for the win, which now has Josh Frederick
& Beau Baron tied for the Pro ATV points
leads | “It was really dusty at first and the track
was rough so I just had to ride cautiously at
first. I moved up pretty quick and when I took
the lead, I just kind of cruised. It felt like
it’s been a long time since I was on top
of the podium, so it felt really good to be up
there,” stated Frederick. Maxxis Tires/H&M Motorsports’ Beau
Baron was looking good as he shot off the start
in the number two spot, but after battling the
dust and Dillon Zimmerman for several laps, Baron
developed arm pump and dropped back several positions,
but Baron was able to remount a charge as he reclaimed
the second spot on the podium.

Beau Baron got off to a great start in the
2nd spot behind #49 Dillon Zimmerman, but
after dropping back several positions early
in the race, Baron rebounded to secure the
2nd spot at the checkered flag | “I actually got quite a bit of arm pump
and I fell off the pace, but I came back later
in the race and worked back up to second. I was
closing in on Josh, but I didn’t have enough
time to get close enough to do anything. I still
had a good race and put Maxxis and H&M on
the podium, so I’m pretty happy with that,”
said Baron. Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson was distracted by
Justin Waters’ dismount at the start and
was at the back of the pack on the start. Nelson
charged hard and quickly worked his way up to
his teammate Josh Row, who was in the top five.
Nelson and Row battled back and forth in the early
in the race with Nelson struggling to get into
a grove early on, but once Nelson got adjusted
to the track, he made the pass stick on Row and
began to pull some very fast and consistent lap
times, which allowed Nelson to charge his way
up into the third spot before the checkered flag.

#94 Dustin Nelson charged his way to a 3rd
place Podium finish | “I didn’t get a good start and the
dust made it a little tough if you were in the
back but I just kept pushing forward, and I was
able to make it into third,” said Nelson.
