Beau Baron took the second spot at the season finale which clinched him second place in the Quad X Pro points

“I was trying to stay out of Nelson’s roost, but stay close enough that if he made a mistake, I could capitalize on it. He kept blocking me pretty good, but on the last lap, I gave it everything I had. I shot across the inside of the track and was able to get around him in the final turn. I was really happy that it worked out,” regarded Baron.

Baron had a good start in moto two and was in second behind Haagsma as they rocketed around the track. Baron kept close to his teammate, but wasn’t able to make the pass.  His second place finish earned him second place at the round and secured him second place in the Quad X championship.

Dustin Nelson went 3-3 to earn third overall and third in the points race
Dustin Nelson claimed third on the day and third in the championship chase after going 3-3 at the series finale. In moto one, Nelson came off the gate in second position and began working to keep Baron behind him for the first nine laps. The two had an exciting battle and Nelson put on a great race, although he finished in third after the last lap pass.

“I had a good battle with Beau. He raced me clean all race, we raced really hard. He had some good lines and he was able to square me up and get by. My rear tire blew over the berm and cost me second. It was good racing though,” explained Nelson of the first moto.
