“The quad worked well. I just had bad luck with the carrier going out and crashing. I am pretty sore today, but looking forward to an interesting final round,” said Nelson.  Nelson currently holds a three point lead over Haagsma for the Quad X Championship.  “I have to win the final; if Davie (Haagsma) gets the win he’ll take the championship. I really want this,” regards Nelson of the Quad X championship.

                                  | Fasst Co.'s Colt Brinkerhoff placed fourth overall at Cahuilla Creek MX |  Colt Brinkerhoff took fourth at the event. Jorge Guerrero went 6-5 to round out the top five and Beau Baron took the sixth spot. He placed second in moto one, but broke a valve in the second moto which sidelined him early.   The tenth and final round of the Quad X series takes place Saturday November 10 at Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, Ca.  This race should be intense as the points battles are tight everywhere.

                                  | It will come down to the 2012 Yamaha QuadX Racing Series finale at Glen Helen to decide the 2012 QuadX Pro 450 Production Champion. Only Three points separate #94 Dustin Nelson & #422 David Haagsma |  Three points separate Nelson and Haagsma for the championship. Baron only holds a three point lead over Fife for the third spot and interestingly, Brinkerhoff only leads Josh Row by three points in the battle for fifth.  |
