Pro-Am was next up on the gate and with the same riders, with the exception of Travis Moore and Michael Bluy, it was going to be a tight battle for the six lap motos as well.

Fairway Farms / PRP / FLY’s Preston Young was the man to beat in the Pro-Am class after a podium in the Pro class. Young came out in the first moto with a fourth place start while Jon Glynn snagged his first holeshot of the season up front and was running away with the lead.

Young put the hammer down and got by both Hickson and Glynn, who had dropped back to second place, then set his sights on Paolella who currently had the lead. Young stayed focused and got around Paolella for the lead and held his position all the way to the finish line for a first place in moto one.

FOX / MAXXIS / Finch Tree Service’s Preston Young had another fourth place start to the moto but this time had a different group of racers in front of him. Young was able to slip by Hickson who had third place tied up but was unable to make any forward progress after this. Young had Paolella in front of him in second place and Nick Gennusa up in first who snagged the holeshot. Young had to settle for a 1-3 finish, however this was good enough for him as it resulted in a first place overall on the day.

“I really just want to thank my Mom for all the help she’s be sending my way and my boss at Finch Tree Service for his help as well. Every week, people step up in different ways to help me out and I’m happy to be back on the top of the podium and chasing another championship,” said Young.
