DASA’s Preston Young was back in the hunt for a podium spot in the Pro-Am class as he went 3-3 on the day to land in the 3rd spot overall. Young’s first moto saw him ripping off the line and taking the holeshot and leading into the first jump and corner section. From here Young had a fight on his hands as Creamer quickly made a pass on him heading into a tight left hand turn. Young then did battle with Moore as the pair careened around the course with Young ending up in 3rd place where he would stay until the end of the race.

Class on his Honda 450R ATV |
Moto two for Young went much like the first
with him taking the holeshot and pushing hard
at the front and waiting for Creamer to strike.
The pass happened after about a lap and a half
which sent Young back to second place and battling
Moore for this position once again. Young finally
succumbed to the pressure from Moore and slipped
back to third, matching his score from the first
moto and taking home 3rd place overall.

“The track was insanely rough at the
end of the day and was beating us all up. My
Honda TRX450R held together and performed amazingly
throughout the day and I couldn’t be happier
to be up here on the podium with Creamer and
Moore. My heart goes out to the Cummings family
as well and I hope Andy gets better soon and
gets back out here. I’m looking forward
to the next round at Twister and getting back
up here on the podium!”, said Young.
