Moore then set his sights on #117 Mike Bluy who took the Holeshot and was leading. Moore then slipped passed Bluy in the same spot on lap two that he overtook Young at on lap one. Moore then set sail for the checkered flag and never looked back for the remainder of the race.

Moto two for Wide Open Racing / Fly’s Travis Moore was looking to shape up much the same as they tore off the gate with Moore being barely edged out of the Holeshot by Mike Bluy. This time however Moore would make a very early pass for the lead through the gnarly first whoop section. Once out front, Moore would throw down fast lap times and cruise to the checkered flag with another 1-1 on the weekend.

“We just had an amazing weekend all together. Going 1-1 in both classes, you really can’t do much better than that. My Can-Am was running amazing and with the help from everyone we really sealed it up this weekend. We’re all super pumped!”, said Moore after the event.

#117 Nac's Racing / MR Unlimited’s Mike Bluy came on strong in the Pro-Am class after having mechanical issues throughout the day in the Pro class. Bluy tore off the line aboard his newly acquired Honda 450R ATV and grabbed the Holeshot in moto one. Heading into the first corner it was Bluy, Young, and Moore leading the pack through the corner and over the first big table top. Moore would put on a charge and work his way around Bluy, but not without a fight. Bluy kept his nose clean the rest of the race and was able to come away with a 2nd place finish for moto one.

Moto two rolled around and Bluy was right back after it putting his Quad-Tech / Hoosier Tire’s Honda right to the front for another Holeshot This time around Bluy would come under fire from both Moore and Young as the two rocketed around the track in pursuit of each other. Bluy would eventually succumb to the pressure and slip back to 3rd place but still hung onto 2nd place overall going 2-3 on the day establishing himself as a front runner in this series.

#172 FOX Athlete / MR Unlimited’s Preston Young was able to make his second appearance on the podium at AK Farms going 4-2 on the day and coming away with a 3rd place overall ride.
