My suspension is dialed in, and my bike is
running really well, so I am very happy to make
the podium this weekend,” commented Burbine.
Brad was unable to catch Moore to make any more
progress up the line, and would finish the second
moto in third, giving him an overall third for
the Pro class this weekend, and also his first
Pro podium.

Preston
Young placed fourth overall despite having
mechanical issues

Honda TRX 450R mounted Preston Young put in
some good motos in the Pro class this weekend.
Young started both motos near the front of the
pack but was unable to maintain his lead on
other riders because of mechanical issues with
his quad. “I ran a good first moto, but
in the last two laps I had a front shock issue,
and then in my second Pro moto, my motor started
to lock up so I just hung out and tried to finish
the race and not blow up my motor,” commented
Young on his Pro motos. Young would finish fourth
overall.

Tommy Lombardo rounded out top 5 in the
Pro ATV class at Hurricane Hills
|
Tommy Lombardo would round out the top five.
Lombardo started the first Pro moto off the
line in fourth, and held a tight battle with
Burbine for the first few laps of the race before
being passed. Lombardo would finish the first
moto in fifth, and took a DNS in the second
moto. “We’re going to hang it up
for the Pro motos right now and try to get in
better shape and concentrate on the Pro-Am class
for now,” commented Lombardo.

Podium (Left to Right)
Brad Burbine (3rd) , Josh Creamer (1st),
Travis Moore (2nd) |
The Pro-Am class was well stocked this weekend
with eleven riders at the gate for the first
moto. Taking off with the holeshot was Walsh’s
Josh Creamer. He stayed close with the pack
for the first two laps before making a huge
lead from the other riders and would take the
win. Lucas Oil’s Creamer would have a
repeat second moto, taking the holeshot, staying
out front and running away with the overall
win for the day. Creamer seems to be unstoppable
once out in front on his BCS Performance powered
Can-Am DS 450 ATV.
