Travis Moore, AMA ATV MX National rider, made
an appearance this weekend to race in the Pro
and Pro-Am class. Moore rode for Southside Polaris
on an Outlaw 450 MXR in his motos. In the first
Pro moto, Moore had a great start off the line
in third behind Creamer and Wimmer. Moore battled
with Jasmin Plante throughout the moto, but
was able to stay ahead of him and keep a hold
on his position and finish the first Pro moto
in second..

Moore started the second moto out in front, taking
the Nac’s Holeshot Award, but fell into
third after being passed by Creamer and Wimmer
right after the holeshot. Moore stayed close with
the top two, and felt the pressure coming from
Plante who was in fourth. Finishing the moto in
third, Travis would take the second overall for
the day. “I enjoyed this track, I would
compare it to Sunset in Illinois, one of the tracks
we do in Nationals. It is sandy, but hard pack
and I really enjoyed it,” stated Moore.
Is it possible we may see Moore race a few rounds
next season in the NEATV-MX series? “I definitely
wouldn’t count it out,” said Moore.

Jasmin Plante returned to the NEATV-MX series
after missing several rounds this season. In the
first Pro moto, Plante rode his friends Yamaha
YFZ 450 and started off in fourth behind Moore.
Plante stayed close on Moore’s tail but
wasn’t able to make the pass and stayed
in third for the remainder of the first moto.
He got off the start in fourth in the second
moto and Plante applied the pressure on Moore,
and was able to make a pass on him and take
over third for a lap, before being passed back
by Moore. Plante would finish fourth, taking
third overall. “I am not sure if I will
be back next year, it’s a possibility,
but I need to speak with some people about next
season before I know if I will return,”
commented Plante.

Oakham, Massachusett's Jon Glynn was also a new
face to the NEATV-MX Pro class this weekend. Glynn
started the first Pro moto in the back of the
pack but stayed close with Plante for most of
the moto. Glynn would finish fourth in the first
moto. In the second moto, Glynn started again
in the back of the pack and stayed near Plante,
but never was close enough to make any moves.
Glynn finished fourth overall in the Pro class
this weekend.
