In the Pro-am class, Jasmin Plante would take top honors as he would take the
moto one win and follow it up with a strong
second in moto two.

It
appeared as if Yamaha's Jasmin Plante
would secure another holeshot for himself
but the orange rocket of DRT's Michael
Pilotte had the better line & grabbed
the Pro-Am moto two holeshot ahead of
Plante, Haavisto, & Miller |

Michael
Pilotte was on the move in Moto 2 as he
showed the rest of the Pro field he's
back in action taking the moto win |
Michael Pilotte’s First Pro-am Moto would
strongly resemble his efforts in moto one of
the Pro class as he would come off the line
in sixth and work into the number four spot
before crossing the finish line.
Moto two would go better for him as he would grab
the holeshot and lead from start to finish taking
the moto one win, which would give him second
overall. “It felt really good to take that
win especially after the bad luck I have had,”
stated Pilotte.
Joe Haavisto would put in a solid 3-3 effort
to claim third overall. Haavisto looked as if
he would be a contender for the moto two win
with his strong start, but he would get banged
up in the first corner and pushed out, forcing
him to work his way through traffic and settle
for a third place finish.

Two-time
defending Pro/Pro-Am champion Joe Haavisto
took back over his Pro class points lead
at round 6 after putting on an impressive
array of riding & inched closer to
the Pro-Am points lead as well with 3-3
moto finishes |
The
Louisiana native, Bobby Ross put in an
incredible effort during the Pro-Am motos
at MX207 going 2-7 on the day which would
put him up to 4th place overall on the
day for the Pro-Am class & keep his
top 10 points chase hopes alive |
Bobby Ross Came on strong in the first Pro-am
moto to take a second place finish, but in moto
two, he would have to settle for seventh, giving
him a solid fourth overall. Jason Connell was
nothing if not consistent as he would bring
home a pair of 5-5 finishes allowing him to
round out the top five in the Pro-am class,
while Vincent Mofford’s solid 6-6 finishes
would give him sixth overall.

Jason
Connell put his Elka suspension &
DASA motor to the test as he flew over
the big triples & table-tops at MX207
on his way to 5th place overall finish
in the Pro-Am class |
Cody
Miller took home 7th overall after he
again had some bad luck on his side during
the Pro-Am motos. He's sure to be looking
for redemption as we head to PA for round
seven at Hurricane Hills |
Cody Miller would once again have some bad luck
in moto one as he would get shut out on the start,
forcing him to the back of the pack. Miller would
fight his way back to an 11th place finish in
moto one. Moto two was a little better for Miller
as he would work his way back up to fourth after
a trip over the berm, giving him seventh overall.
Eighth place would go to Mathieu DeRoy, followed
by Joseph Fratus in ninth and Matt Pomeroy would
round out the top ten overall for the Pro-am class.
