NE-EDT Racing's Pro
Lites & Women's Report
::Continued::
The RATH Racing Pro-lite class saw a full-gate
of twenty racers line up to start the contest.
MAXXIS / Elka Suspension / Houser Racing / FLY’s
Damian King has yet to be bested in the Pro-lite
ranks since early in the season and has continued
to uphold that record after round four of the
series.

Damian King came off the line in expert fashion
to snag the Deister Racing / Motor City Solutions
Holeshot award just ahead of John Stierle and
Paula Kwiek. King quickly opted for the inside
option lane and began to pull a lead on the pack
as he and Stierle battled for position up front.
Without faltering, King stayed calm for the entire
main event, putting in solid, consistent laps,
and came away with another win for himself.

Championship Powersports Racing / Houser’s John
Stierle made his first appearance of the 2016
season and landed on the podium in second place
after a hard battle with King and looks to be
a top contender for the rest of the season. Earnhardt
Racing / Hoosier’s Sam Jones came from a mid-pack
start to strengthen his position, pass several
riders and move his way up into third place by
the end of the race, allowing him to round out
the Pro-lite podium with a solid third place finish.

In the Noel Property Maintenance Women’s class,
Shank Racing / Tru-Way Racing’s Paul Kwiek came
out and grabbed the Noel Property holeshot award
just ahead of CCR Racing / Close Encounter Whitetail’s
Andrea Creech and was off to a good head-start
heading into the first lap of the race. Kwiek
remained out front for the entire length of the
bout, forcing the other women to duke it out behind
her.

Creech fended off Jessica Ryckman early on in
the race and then Heather Byrd who was gaining
ground through the pack. Creech was able to hold
onto second place while Byrd, racing her first
NE-EDT race, caught on quickly to gain momentum
and ended up on the Women’s class podium in a
respectable third place finish.
