NE EDT Racing Season Opener Race Report

The Maul Tech Pro class was up next and the final race of the HB Racing NE EDT series round one. There was 16 riders signed up for the pro class with a $4,000 purse up for grabs. The #17 rider Jordan Rummage and the #25 rider Chuckie Creech were the top qualifiers as they picked their spot on the line, followed by some of the countries fastest ATV TT racers in the country.

The 30 second card was out and as the light turned green it was the #17 rider Jordan Rummage who put his TRE, Victory, Element 44 TRX450r out front and captured the TRE holeshot award. He was followed closely by Aaron Medlin, Andrew Evanyke, Chuckie Creech, Brian Ace, Brooks Williams, Joe Fleener and Mark Blystone at the start of the race.

Brad Riley got off to a bad start and was left in the back of the pack to start the race. It took a few laps but Riley was able to start his push through the pack and moved up to the tenth place spot within a few laps.

At almost the half-way point of the race, Rummage led the pack followed closely by Evanyke who had moved up to second, followed by Creech, Ace, Medlin, Mark Blystone, Houghton and some how Brad Riley got his way up into the mix as well.
