Clouds, rain and cool, dreary weather welcomed the racers as they tackled the extensive track. The jumps were huge, along with new sand and clay whoop sections that challenged many of the racers.

Wienen Motorsports / SSI Graphics’ Chad Wienen had it going on all day. He began with a stellar ride in his heat race. The momentum carried him into the main, as Wienen took the holeshot and never looked back. Despite the track being unlike what Wienen was used to, the trip to Montreal went picture perfect for the racer.

After winning his first AMA ATV MX Pro Championship, Chad Wienen topped off his career best year by winning the 2012 Montreal Supermotocross

“I had an awesome start. Things just went our way all weekend. It was a team effort and this was the icing on the cake for our year. It just went great” said Wienen.

The #44 isn’t done for the year just yet. Wienen is heading to New Zealand for a national race and some R&R. Once stateside again, the Yamaha racer plans to line up at the Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, IN.

TBROWN Yamaha racer Thomas Brown had a great weekend as well. Brown claimed second in his heat behind Wienen and made a repeat ride to take second in the main event.  Brown spent his race battling with Can-Am’s Josh Creamer.  After multiple passes back and forth between the pair, Brown was able to make a gap and finish an impressive second place.
