WORCS MAXC Racing Round 7 Race Report
::Continued::

Polaris’ Denny Aubery had a great run as well, quickly getting near the front the pack after Chaney’s mishap and getting on the rear bumper of Tim Marshall running his Arctic Cat Wildcat and was in the lead. Aubery spent a little time behind Marshall but found an opening and got around him and into the lead and tried to put distance between himself and the rest of the pack. Aubery was running strongly but was passed by Boling half-way through the event and was forced to settle for second place, this too, matched his best finish of the season with another second place podium.

Can-Am’s Brett Wingfield, who traveled all the way down from Ontario, Canada for the event, came off the line right behind Chaney and gave pursuit for the beginning part of the race. Wingfield dropped off the pace a bit and was passed by both Boling and Aubery by the end of lap one but was able to hold his own against the course and didn’t make any mistakes for the rest of the race. Wingfield took his first-ever Pro win at this event, but settled for a third place overall on the podium which he was very happy for.
