Cole Richardson made the long drive over from Pennsylvania to race at the Blackhawk MAXC. Richardson also started from the rear of the pack, but would soon catch Goings at the end of the first lap. The race then was on between the two for the number one position. On lap four, Richardson came through scoring with the lead, but would soon experience some issues that dropped him back to second on the final two laps.

“The track got really whooped up from of the dirtbikes. We got off to a decent start and Marshal [Goings] and I ended up hooking up and Kiser was leading for a while. During the pits I got around Marshal [Goings]. We then got to push each other the whole race. I kind of had a couple issues and Marshal [Goings] ended up pulling away the last lap and he ended up taking the win,” explained Cole Richardson.
Current MAXC Pro Points Class Leader Taylor Kiser once again landed on the podium. Although he doesn’t get much seat time between races, Kiser continues to podium each race as the Blackhawk MAXC was no different earning the final spot on the MAXC Pro Podium.

“We got off to a pretty good start. The dirtbikes already had everything kind of rutted up so it took a little bit to get into rhythm. These guys were really rolling! Cole [Richardson] got by and then Marshal got by both of us then just fell in behind them and ran my own pace, and then they pulled away and here I am. I didn’t have any issues I just got tired,” said Defending MAXC Champion Taylor Kiser
