Dustin Nelson charged his way to the lead
in both Open Pro motos to complete a perfect
weekend of racing |
In the Open Pro class, Dustin Nelson worked his
way up from a third place start in the first moto,
getting by Kody Evans and Jason Dunkelberger to
take over the lead in the sixth lap. From there,
Nelson pulled away, taking the moto one win. In
moto two, Nelson took an early lead and checked
out in the competition, taking his fourth moto
win of the day and taking the overall win in the
Open Pro class.
Kody Evans, who has come on strong this season,
grabbed the moto one holeshot and led for three
laps before falling victim to the charges of Dustin
Nelson and Jason Dunkelberger. Evans would hang
on to take a solid third in moto one.

when Dustin Nelson out powered Dunk down
the straight away to take over the lead
in Moto one |
