Jacksonville, TX - Jacksonville,
TX – The Highlifter Mud Nationals is the premiere
event for those who like to get down and dirty and
the 2012 festival held at Mudcreek Off-road Park
in Jacksonville, TX, proved to be bigger and better
than ever.

Over
20,000 people attended the 2012 High Lifter
Mud Nationals at Mud Creek Off-Road Park
in Jacksonville, TV |
Just a couple of months ago, the dry weather
in Texas threatened the event, but just a few
weeks before, Mother Nature decided to end her
dry spell and the rains came forth. The plentiful
precipitation in the days leading up to the five
day event provided near perfect conditions.

Can-Am
offered demo rides of their new 2012 ATV
& SxS models including the Outlander
Utility ATV & Renegade ATV, & Commander
SxS |
As always, vendor row featured many displays
including Yamaha, Arctic Cat, ITP, HMF, and many
others, while Can-Am once again had a demo ride
area set up all interested parties. The folks
at Polaris helped us out with lending us a Sportsman
550 with EPS to get around at the massive Mudcreek
Off-road Park. We also test rode the Sportsman
while we were there and will be doing a ride review
on that machine in the near future.

Polaris
provided us a ride at the Mud Nationals
by lending us a Sportsman 550 with EPS that
we will be doing a review over shortly |
The gates opened on Wednesday and the BBQ Cook
Off was a huge success with plenty of delicious
food and there was the annual Poker Run that was
put on by S3 Power Sports that drew a large crowd
on Thursday evening.

Activities
at the 2012 Mud Nationals continued well
into the night with live music every night
that drew in quite a big crowd |
The entertainment is always a huge draw at the
Mud Nationals and the concert series was top notch
as usual with David Nail performing on Friday
and JB and the Moonshine Band taking to the stage
for Saturday night’s festivities.
