Borich may not have been in the center of
the box, but the Pennsylvanian changed his
title from “Four Time GNCC Champion” to “Five
Time GNCC Champion.” Borich locked up the
championship with a total of 306 points, eleven
podiums and seven wins! Although his main
goal has been accomplished for the season;
Borich has the opportunity to tie Bill Ballance’s
all time ATV win record if he were to take
the center of the box at the final two rounds.

“It feels great to earn the championship
again. I worked really hard for it and everything
just went my way. I couldn’t do this without
the help of my family, friends and sponsors
and it just feels great to earn number five,”
regarded Borich about his fifth consecutive
Pro ATV Championship.

Yamaha's
Walker Fowler had worked his way past
Chris Borich heading into the pits,
but Borich's team had him in and out
before Fowler, which dropped Fowler
back to third, which is where he stayed
to the checkered flag for the final

Walker Fowler finished third aboard his Am Pro
Yamaha. Fowler had a good start and was running
near the front on lap one. He pitted for goggles
and dropped back to sixth. He charged and moved
into third on lap two. Fowler put pressure on
Borich throughout the race, but wasn’t able
to make a pass stick on him. Fowler crossed
the finish in third.
“The conditions really weren’t the best,
but a day on the podium is a good day. My
quad was bogging a bit out there with all
the mud. All in all, it turned out OK and
I’m glad to be up here,” regarded Fowler from
the podium.

Adam McGill took fourth for the day. McGill
was last off the start after opting to run
his practice Honda instead of his race quad.
McGill had to put in quite a few kicks, but
once he got going he moved quickly. McGill
was in twelfth on lap one and moved into seventh
on lap two. He continued to charge through
the slop and overtook the fourth position
on lap three. He was able to maintain the
position and cross the checkers in fourth,
a full three minutes ahead of fifth.
