“It felt good to finish on the podium.
We are still working on getting things dialed
in. A lot of the other guys have been on the
same quads for five years and we made a switch
this year so it’s a little more challenging,
but it is all coming together. I can’t
wait for the next round. South Carolina is
one of my favorite tracks and I usually do
                                    well there,” McGill stated.

                                  Yoshimura’s Chris Borich started near
back of the pack after having to push start
his quad, but he and Adam McGill got together
and charged their way through traffic. Borich
soon made his way into second behind Taylor
Kiser and was waiting to make his move. After
following Kiser briefly, Borich went for the
pass through a mud pit. Borich charged right
through the mud pit, but just after the pit,
was a turn and he and Kiser connected causing
Borich to spin out and almost off into the
spectators. Borich got back on the gas and
was soon going for the pass on Kiser again,
but the pair connected and Borich tipped over.
                                    Borich’s misfortune allowed Adam McGill
to pass for second, putting Borich in the
number three spot at the checkered flag. “When
Taylor and I were battling, I could have settled
for second but I really wanted to win so I
went for it. It didn’t work out how
                                    I planned but that’s racing,”
                                    said Borich.

Yamaha / Ballance Racing’s Walker Fowler
had an excellent start and was leading in
the first lap. Fowler soon came under fire
from Chris Bithell and fell back to second
place. Fowler stayed the course for two laps,
but fell back again when Chris Borich and
Adam McGill charged through. Fowler was still
looking solid as he crossed the finish line
                                    in the number four spot.

Brian Wolf was impressive as he shot off
the start in third and moved into second before
heading into the woods. Wolf was right on
Walker Fowler in the first lap. The top one
through five guys were like a freight train
out there. We were all really close,”
                                    said Wolf.
Wolf eventually fell back to fifth place
in the fourth lap, but was staying close and
waiting to make a move, but unfortunately
that didn’t happen. “I got stuck
in bottle neck towards the end and it slowed
me up so I couldn’t pass. But I am happy
to finish in the top five. I just want to
thank my family for being there for me through
good times and bad,” said Wolf, who
was dealing with a serious infection in his
hand in the prior two rounds.

Chris Bithell was on a mission off the start
and took command going into the first lap.
Bithell was still leading in the second lap,
but he had plenty of company and fell back
in the second lap to the number six position
