Dustin Canipe made his pro debut and was looking
solid as he held down the number ten spot, where
he would end his day. Bryan Cook held on to
finish in eleventh, while Mark Notman would
take twelfth and Tom Wright ended his day in
the number thirteen spot.

XC 2 Class Champion, #1 Walker Fowler
continued his winning streak at the Powerline
Park GNCC with his 11th straight win of
the year |
In the Pro-am class, Walker Fowler continued his
winning streak in pursuit of his perfect season.
Fowler dominated every lap and took the win by
over six minutes ahead of second place. Gabe Phillips
came from outside the top five to take over the
number two spot in lap three and held it all the
way to the checkered flag, while Aarol Bright
rode a solid and consistent race to round out
the top three in the Pro-am class.
In the morning classes, Master’s 50+
class racer, Dave Simmons took the overall win
to top the morning podium, while Can-Am’s
Zac Zakowski claimed the 4x4 Open win and took
second on the podium. Brycen Neal charged hard
in the Schoolboy 13-15 A/B class and was able
to take his class in and claim the final spot
on the morning podium.

Yamaha/Ballance Racing’s, Traci Cecco
took the Women’s class win, followed by
Angel Atwell in second and Kristen Atwell in
third.
In the afternoon Side-by-Side races, it was
William Yokely and the Polaris/National Guard
team that took the Open Modified win and the
overall, while team Hendershot joined him on
the podium in second and ATR Performance took
a solid third.
Round number 12 of the 2011 GNCC series will
head to Crawfordsville, IN on October 22 for
the Ironman round of the series where Chris
Borich will be going for the win in his quest
for the championship.
