Pro-Am Unlimited
& Production ATV Race Report
In the Pro Am Unlimited class, KTM’s Tim Farr left
no doubt he is still one of the fastest Extreme Dirt Track
racers as he grabbed the Holeshot and dominated the Unlimited
Class. Although Farr was never challenged, there was plenty
of excitement behind him. Darin Ogden and Josh Carter
made the biggest moves as they pressed each lap to move
up from their sixth and ninth place starts.

Brandon Hill held
the runners-up sport leading Aaron Reisig &
Darin Ogden
|
By the sixth lap Ogden had moved into the fourth position
and Carter had moved up 4 spots to fifth. While Carter
would finish in fifth, Ogden was not done with his charge
through the pack. Ogden stayed in the fourth spot for
laps for several laps before getting around Aaron Reisig
in the right hand turn after Polish Hill in lap 13 of
the 15 lap main, and he was then able to pass Brandon
Hill in the final lap as the riders came out of the
bowl and across the finish line.

Privateer Darin Ogden once again made his attack
in the final lap to gain a position and claimed
the 2nd spot from Brandon Hill |
As Farr took the win, he was followed by Ogden, Hill,
Reisig, Carter, Trent Powell, Kristopher Bures, Ryan
Partee, William Scalisi, and Russell McWhorter rounding
out the top ten. Farr has regained the points lead even
though missed the second round to compete in the SnowShoe
GNCC with Brandon Hill, Zach Stanley, Josh Carter ,
and Kristopher Bures rounding out the top five in points.
In the Pro Am Production class, Rage ATV’s Harold
Goodman grabbed the Holeshot, but Suzuki Lost Creek
Cycles’ Mitch Reynolds took control of the lead
after finding the fastest lane through the split section.
The following lap, Reynolds made the mistake of switching
up his lane choice, which opened up the door for Goodman
to regain control of the lead, which he never relinquished.
Reynolds stayed close to Goodman and finished second
ahead of Michael Coburn, Shane Hitt, Frank Batista,
Chuckie Creech, Brandon Hill, Brad Riley, Zac Willett,
and Josh Carter all top ten finishers.

Win launched him into the Pro Am Production
Points Lead

With the win, Harold Goodman has captured the points
lead away from Frank Batista who is now 10 points behind
Goodman. Chuckie Creech remains in the third spot while
Mitch Reynolds second place finish moved him from sixth
to fourth and Brad Riley remains in the top five only
two points behind Reynolds.
The Extreme Dirt Track racing action will resume in
just two weeks for Round 5 at Ozark Mountain ATV Raceway
in Ava, Missouri on August 3rd.
