                                  | PRO-AM
                                      UNLIMITED
ATV MAIN | Pro-Am Unlimited would be next up on the gate
After the Pro-Am’s had made their mark just
moments earlier. The big bores of Busco Beach
would come to the line with Brad Riley already
in the point lead with it wrapped up. The race
would see the #27 Maxxis Tires’ racer come
away with a second place finish on the evening
to solidify his championship race. Although Riley may have won the overall championship,
he would not grab the win on the evening. It was
the #25 of WISECO/LTE/PEP’s Chuckie Creech
coming off with the commanding win after coming
out of the holeshot in second place behind the
#117 of Southern Illinois Choppers / DASA / Fly
                                Racing’s Jared Hulliung.

                                       PEP's #25
Chuckie Creech grabbed the Pro-Am Unlimited
Holeshot followed by #117 Jared Hulliung
with Creech leading from start to finish
to secure the Win | “A few of the guys jumped the line for
the first holeshot and it sent Wolff and Riley
behind me which helped me out a bit. I knew they
would both be charging hard behind me after that
so I tried to get out to an early lead and stay
clean. My TRE engine and PEP shocks were working
amazing and I was able to hold off these guys
and take the win which puts me in second place
overall for the points on the year,” said
                                a happy Chuckie Creech.

#27 Brad Riley would jump the start a bit and be
sent to the rear upon the start with a few other
riders. This would create a bit more work for the
Maxxis Tires’ racer but this wouldn’t
put a damper on his spirit. Riley would begin to
tear his way through the pack and move on up as
he has done so many times before.

“Yeah I started towards the back and just
picked off riders as I came on up. This is basically
another Pro class and lots of good racers out
here to compete with like Chuckie and Nathan.
I eventually moved up to the second place spot
but ran out of laps to catch Chuckie this time.
This is my 4th year taking home the championship
in this class and I’m really pumped for
it. Next year we’ll be doing the MX side
of things and still concentrating on this TT series
and hopeful for a championship in all three classes,”
said a hopeful Brad Riley after the event.

#27 Brad Riley earned the 2nd spot on the
Pro-Am Unlimited Podium for his third podium

#53 Maxxis’ Kirby Cooke had been looking for
a spot on the box all weekend long and in the Pro
Am Unlimited class he would achieve just that. Cooke
would come off the line with a good starting position.

#53 Kirby Cooke rounded out the North Carolina
sweep of the Pro-am Unlimited podium for
the second night in a row | “I got a really good start in the Pro-Am
class even after my shoulder got all tore up the
night before. I’ll take it as it is but
I’m really happy with the 3rd place spot
on the box tonight. It was a really tough year
for us with a lot of ups and downs but next year
we have plans to be right back here and back on
top,” said Cooke after the event.

                                        Kirby Cooke (3rd)
 | Running in the 4th place spot would be the #117
of Southern Illinois Choppers / DASA / Fly Racing’s
Jared Hulliung. Hulliung would come off the line
and nab the holeshot right in front of Chuckie
Creech and #92 Michael Houghton. Hulliung would
then settle into his pace as Creech would slip
his way past earlier in the race.

                                        Jared Huilling Pro-Am Unlimited Class
4th place finish allowed him to move up
into the Top 5 in Pro-Am Unlimited class
points past #92 Michael Houghton | “I felt really good out there and I’m
happy to be running with these guys. I got a great
start and rode a clean race from there on out.
Next year we’re really looking to step it
up and gain some new sponsors so we can go out
there and represent them in the top classes and
come away with wins,” said Jared. Rounding out the top 5 on the evening after the
tough 15 lapper would be the #71 of Wolff Motorsports/Rath’s
Nathan Wolff. Wolff would get off to a slow start
being behind the leaders after the restart but
would quickly slice his way through the pack and
up into the top 5 before the checkered flag flew.

“Overall the season went really good. I came
away on the season with a 3rd place finish overall
which I’m really happy about. This track was
really hooked up and I was destroying tires and
it was pretty hard to get forward bite. I’m
really happy with my DASA motor as well, that paired
with the Hoosier tires I was able to hang on even
with the rough track. I’m happy with the end
result of the season but we’re really looking
to get a lot more done in the next season,”
                              said Wolff.

Round 8 was a very hot, and intense weekend which
saw many championships won and lost. The season
on a whole was great with rider turnouts and racing
action. Check right back here on ATVriders.com
