2011 AMA Racing ATV Extreme Dirt Track Nationals Round #7 - Sioux Falls, SD Sioux Valley Cycle Club August 20, 2011

Round 7 of the Extreme Dirt Track ATV Racing series was hosted in Pro ATV Racer's Michael Coburns hometown of Garretson, SD

Sioux Valley Cycle Club was the hosting facility for this round that saw good weather and great track conditions. Besides racing, there were plenty of other celebrations and activities going on for the weekend. On Friday evening, the town of Garretson, SD hosted a huge party for round seven of the Extreme Dirt Track series that included a dealer expo with many quads on display, and an ATV fun ride. Riders were escorted through town all the way out to a couple of parks, along the nearby river bed, and finally out to a gravel pit for a bit of free riding, which drew a lot of attention and proved to be quite fun for all in attendance.

Friday night activities featured an ATV fun ride that took the streets of Garretson, SD

“It was pretty fun. We had a lot of activities and such for everyone and we had it set up for a sort of party at one of the bars in town ad we had quads on display there and it was a whole lot of fun,” said Michael Coburn. A youth oval track bicycle race was also on the list of activities and everyone was treated to an aerial display during the National Anthem on Saturday

There was also a bicycle race Friday night that took place right on the oval track!

The ATV fun ride was escorted by a cop car to separate locations around town	While the National Anthem was being sung the crowd was treated with aerial fly over!
