Racing's Michael Coburn claimed his 2nd
straight Extreme Dirt Track Pro ATV Championship |
Michael Coburn, who only needed to finish within
around 10-15 points of Brad Riley to take the championship,
was in second off the start behind Goodman. Coburn
challenged Goodman for several laps before he would
decide to pace himself, knowing a mistake could
cost him the championship. Coburn would let a couple
of riders pass before settling for a fourth place
finish and taking his second consecutive Extreme
Dirt Track Pro Championship.
“I felt really good out there, but I decided
to play it safe. I’m really happy about
winning the championship again. I have to thank
all of my sponsors, family and friends that have
supported me all season long and been there for
me. It has really helped to make this a great
year for me,” stated Coburn.

REPORT |
In the Pro Lites class, it was Michael Coburn

in the final few laps of the race, Riley made
the pass on Coburn to take over the lead and claim
the Pro Lites class win

#27
Brad Riley & #038 Michael Coburn battled
back & forth during the Pro Lites race
with Riley claiming his 4th win of the season
followed by Coburn. Riley already clinched
the Championship at Round 6 with Coburn
taking the 2nd spot in Points
|
Michael Coburn put up a good fight against Riley,
but was having a bit of traction issues that slowed
him up a bit and allowed Riley to get by, but
Coburn was still pleased to take a second place
finish.
