Can-Am's Chuckie Creech was on the move
in the Pro Lites class & was able to
secure a 3rd place finish for himself after
fighting with the pack all the way to the
finish line |
Can-Am’s Chuckie Creech is no stranger to
the podium when it comes to flat track racing and
he proved that at Pine Lake as he took home another
third place finish in the Pro Lites Main event.
Creech was able to get a good start on the inside
line just behind McKibben, Ace, Powell and Goodman
and moved into fourth position by the end of lap
two. Creech then began working on Casey McKibben
for the third place spot and found success about
halfway through the race and would hold down third
place until the checkers flew a few laps later.
“ I’m really happy to be back up
here on the podium especially after a successful
weekend at Birch Creech. I love this track and
thankfully I was able to hold off Riley and McKibben
and get back on the podium for Round 5,”
said Chuckie after the race.

REPORT |
In the Pro-Am Main event luck was not on the
sides of Brad Riley, Chuckie Creech or Kris Bures
as they all suffered damaged equipment during
the holeshot pileup with Riley getting the worst
of it. Creech would suffer a broken clutch lever
cable while Bures had a flat back tire, Riley
on the other hand was pummeled by Creech’s
quad as they smashed into the hay-bail barriers,
Riley would shake it off and come back for an
8th place finish.

DASA's Frank Batista ran away with the lead
in the Pro-Am Main event & was able
to hold off Hitt & Goodman to take the
win |
The race would be restarted and saw McKibben
Motorsport’s Frank Batista edge out Harold
Goodman for the holeshot for the second time in
the same race, followed by Shane Hitt, Michael
Coburn and Kirby Cooke.
Batista, coming off from a win in his heat race earlier in the day, laid down
some fast laps on his way to his best finish of
the day, while Hitt and Goodman had a battle of
their own behind him. “This track is super
fast on the front stretch and really tight in
the in-field area, I just rode my own race and
was able to put some time on Shane and Harold.
I’m really happy to bring home this win
at Pine Lake!,” said Batista.
