Frank Batista landed in the third spot of the
Pro podium but was not handed the spot easily
as he had his hands full with Jay Rehagen who
rode in third place for over three quarters of
the race. “ Yeah Jay was right in front
of me for practically the whole race, finally
I was able to make my way around him before the
end of the race because his tranny was giving
him shifting problems around the corners. It was
such a tough race but I’m glad to be back
up here with a podium finish,” said Batista
while on the podium.

Man Apparel's Jay Rehagen was suffering
from some transmission problems but was
still able to fend off attacks & hold
on for another 4th place finish |
Jay Rehagen bested himself and matched his round
4 finish with another fourth place finish in the
Pro class after a long intense battle with not
only Batista but his transmission as well. “
Everytime I’d go around a tight corner or
pin in coming out the tranny would pop out of
gear, luckily I’ve been training really
hard and I’m happy to take home another
top 5 finish,” said Rehagen after the event.

MAIN RACE
REPORT |
In the Pro Lites ATV Main even it was again Harold
Goodman up front with the holeshot and running
away with the number one spot all the way to the
checkered flag. Goodman had his hands full with
Brian Ace as the laps clicked away but fortunately
for Goodman, Ace was not able to make a charge
to the front and would have to settle for second
place.

Harold Goodman
pulled the Pro Lites Main holeshot as
well, this time his challenger was Brian
Ace who never let Goodman out of his sights
for more than a few seconds
|
“Thankfully I was able to get another good
start down the front stretch and bring home another
win, my quad was running perfect and this track
has been really good to me,” said Goodman
afterward.

Racing's Brian Ace had one of his best finishes
of the year as he battled with TT Veteran
Goodman at Pine Lake & was able to walk
away with a 2nd place finish on the day |
Brian Ace was hot on the heels of Goodman for
the length of the Pro Lites Main, not letting
him get out of site or more than a couple of seconds
ahead. “ It feels really good to be up here
on the podium, I was able to get a great start
and get around Powell in the first left hand sweeper
and begin to reel in Harold and stay with him
‘til the end of the race,” said Ace
after the event.
