2010 ATV Extreme Dirt
Track Birch Creek Race Report
::Continued::
In the Pro Lites class, it was a battle from
start to finish between Brad Riley, Chuckie Creech,
and Michael Coburn. As they shot off the line,
Chuckie Creech would grab the holeshot and lead
the pack until the final lap.
|
DASA Racing's
#8 Casey McKibben held the early lead
with the #25 of Chuckie Creech making
the pass on the second straight, so it
is up for debate who actually grabbed
the Holeshot, but Creech would hold the
lead till the final lap
|
“I was definitely feeling the pressure
from Brad and Michael out there. All three of
us were running really close,” said Creech,
who would hold his lead until the final lap when
he would bobble slightly, allowing Brad Riley
to get in underneath him, taking the lead and
the win.
“It was really a good race between the
three of us. We were all really close and I just
tried to stay close to Chuckie in case he made
a mistake and I finally had an opportunity to
get around him in the last lap,” stated
Riley.

#25
Chuckie Creech was feeling the Pressure
with Brad Riley & Michael Coburn in
hot pursuit, but Creech held on to claim
the 2nd spot behind Riley for his best Pro
Lites finish of the season |
#27
Brad Riley made his move just in time to
claim his 3rd Pro Lites Win of the year,
which extends Brad Riley's (115 pts) points
lead to 30 points lead over Michael Coburn
with 85 points & Creech with 79 points |
“I was sure heartbreaking to lose like
that. If I would have been able to keep it, I
would have given Can-Am their first Extreme Dirt
Track win,” said Creech, who would be left
to settle for a second place finish. Creech however,
is hoping to turn the tables at Ashtabula in two
weeks.
“I really like the Can-Am far better than
any other machine I have raced. The handling on
it is amazing for TT style riding. Turtle Racing
has been doing some motor work for me and has
really helped get me on the podium and now we
are going to be doing a little fine tuning on
it for the next round, so I am hoping for a win
at Ashtabula,” said Creech.
