McKibben
Motorsports' #13 Frank Batista was on the
only racer all weekend to hold off #27 Brad
Riley to claim the Pro Lites Heat Race Win |
Hoosier's
#038 Michael Coburn made the pass on Can-Am's
#25 Chuckie Creech to take the third spot
with Nick Camilli rounding out the top 5 |
In the Pro Lites class, the first two starts
were red flagged with Brian Ace and Brad Riley
both sent to the back row for jumping the line,
but the third start went green, and it was Garrett
Jackson who would grab the holeshot, with Michael
Coburn in hot pursuit, but the pair would lock
wheels on the second turn, forcing to the pair
out of the race for several laps

Chris Gary showed he meant business as he took
the lead, but he was not alone as amazingly, Brad
Riley came from the back row to begin challenging
Garzy for the lead followed by Nick Camilli in
third.

Michael Coburn
went for the inside pass on Garrett Jackson,
but in the process of the pass, there
rear wheels locked, which sidelined the
pair for several laps

Racing's #81 Chris Gary to over the lead
& held off the hard charging American
Racer's #27 Brad Riley for several laps
before Riley made the pass for the lead
|
Unfortunately for Gary, Brad Riley was on a mission
and was planning on taking the Pro Lites win as
he pressured Gary for several laps before making
the pass for the lead, which Riley maintained
to checkered flag to claim Pro Lites win.

Chris Gary would settle for a respectable second,
while the Pro Lites Rookie, Nick Camilli, hung
on for the final podium spot in his Pro Lites
debut. Charlie Calloway would claim the number
four spot followed Brian Ace rounding out the
top five.
