followed closely by Kirby Cooke, Brady Riley, Frank
Batista, and Michael Coburn, while Chris Gary barely
avoided flipping over in turn two, but dropped back
                              to rear of the pack.::Continued::

Sports' #809 Trent Powell once again
grabbed the Holeshot in the Pro Main followed

Racing's #81 Chris Gary narrowly avoided
flipping in turn two, but he did drop
back to last place | Powell’s lead would only last into the
second lap, as Powell would quickly drop back
to fourth with Riley, Coburn, and Kirby making
the pass by the third lap. Unfortunately for Powell,
his charge would end before the end of the race,
which resulted in a last place finish. “I got out front and started to relax a
little, but then I saw Coburn coming up behind
me, so I pushed harder and started pulling away
again,” explained Riley, who would hold
his lead all the way to the checkered flag.

Brad Riley had the track dialed in to

                                       Sparks
                                        Racing's #038 Michael Coburn challenged
Riley early on, but later settled into
the second spot | Michael Coburn was never able to really close
the gap on Riley as he would finish a distant
second place behind Riley with 14 seconds separating
the pair at the checkered flag. Kirby Cooke would
hang on to take the final spot on the Pro ATA
                                Podium.

Chris Gary rebounded to finish an impressive
4th place | Chris Gary, who came back after a three year
absence, looked solid as he would claim fourth
in the Pro class after making a great come back
from a near crash in lap one, and he finished
just three seconds behind Cooke. Gary looked solid
and fast despite not riding for quite some time,
and he is excited to be racing once again. “I’ve always had the urge and the
passion to race, but over the last few years I
had a lot going on and wasn’t able to dedicate
the time to racing, but now that things have calmed
down a bit for me, I have the time to do it,”
stated Gary, who may be running the entire series
if all goes well for him at round 2’s Sikeston
                                Race Park.

 | Frank Batista would round out the top five in
the Pro class even after discovering a bubble
in his rear tire during the pro parade lap, and
having to run with it for the entire pro race.
“It was a rough ride, but I didn’t
have time to switch it out, so I just had to make
the best of it,” said Batista. |
