Branden Sims lead BITD Turbo
Class with Podium Finish
::Continued::
ITP / LSR Racing’s Branden Sims came into the
event in a numerical tie in points race with Derek
and Jason Murray. The Murrays, along with Marc
Burnett, had problems during the weekend, handing
Sims the lead in points. Sims returned to competition
after being injured prior to the Vegas to Reno
round.

accident, but he was back in force at the

“It felt good to be racing again,” said Sims.
“My dad ran for me in Vegas to Reno. He did exactly
he was supposed to do. We started 14th on Saturday
and we ended up fourth. We just tried to keep
the car together on Sunday. Both of the guys that
are close to me in points had a terrible race.
Hopefully we can carry this into the next race
and clinch the championship.”
