Mark Holz earned the 2012 BITD Pro UTV Class
Championship title |
“We started out near the back but just played it cool and worked our way up. Once we got into third we just cruised along,” regarded Holz who rode passenger for the race.
The team has had quite a successful year; they only finished off the podium one race out of six. “We had a good year. No major issues and a championship. We can’t complain,” said Holz.
Fourth place went to Cognito Racing’s #1918 Justin Lambert, Justin Sheakley and Jim Neasbitt in the Pro UTV class. The team raced a FOX / ITP Tires prepared Polaris RZR XP 900 SxS / UTV.

Fifth spot went to the Can-Am’s #1917 Jason and Derek Murray. The brothers may have come in the fifth position at the Henderson, but took second in a close championship points chase after leading the points heading into the final round.

As the racers fall into the ease of the off season many are in already in full prep mode for the 2013 season, which kicks off in just over a month at the Parker 250 on the weekend of January 12-13th.
