The Pro ATV points leaders and reigning champion’s
CT Racing / Maxxis’ Q1 team of Danny Prather
and David Scott were the first to team to start,
and they held the physical lead for entire race,
and held a time adjusted 26 second lead after
175 miles, but they were not able to hold of Frederick’s
in the final charge to the finish line with the
Q1 team crossing the finish line with a time of
5:58:56 for second place, which was just over
two minutes behind the Q49 team
“We were first off the line and were leading
for a long time. I rode for 72 miles before I
handed the quad off, then David took over and
he was leading as well,” said Prather.

Racing's Q1 of David Scott & Danny Prather
just missed out on another win with a 2nd
place finish to maintain the pro points
lead heading to the Vegas to Reno in August |
“There were lots of turns and it was really
high speed but it was a good ride. It was frustrating
that we didn’t win, but Josh Frederick is
a great rider, so I don’t feel too bad to
lose to him. We still have the points lead so
I’m pretty happy with that,” said
David Scott.
The Q8 Pro ATV Store team of Matt Hancock and
Joshua Edwards, who are currently second in points,
hung on for a third place finish just under ten
minutes behind the Q1 team, but still remain close
in points with Prather and Scott finishing in
second.

Nick Nelson who rode with Beau Baron in the last
round, was on a brand new Suzuki LTR 450 with
Keith Carlson for the Silver State 300, but Carlson
had a get off before the 100 mile mark of the
race, which sent the team back to last place,
but fortunately, Carlson was ok, but the Suzuki
had some damage, which slowed them down and they
would go on to finish in the fourth spot.
