Yamaha's
#84 Thomas Brown |
Yamaha’s Thomas Brown was in the top five
off the start and had his hands full as the Can-Am
team of John Natalie and Joel Hetrick were hot
on his heels. Brown was able to hold his position
for a few laps but fell back. Brown was able to
close in on Josh Upperman and pressure for the
number four spot, but he ran out of time before
he could make a move and settled for a sixth place
finish.
In moto two, Brown was in fourth of the start
and was under attack from Joel Hetrick. The pair
battled relentlessly for several laps before Brown
fell back to fifth place, where he finished the
moto, giving him fifth overall for the day.
Baldwin Motorsports’ Josh Upperman was
looking good off the start and he came of the
line in third and was close to the leaders. Upperman
had a lot of company however and was immediately
under pressure. Upperman held off the competition
for a few laps but eventually fell back for a
fifth place finish.
In moto two, Upperman was not as quick off the
start and was back in eighth place. Upperman stayed
the course and was able to move into the number
seven spot, which put him in sixth overall for
the day.

in his 2012 debut
|
Canadian Can-Am racer, Richard Pelchat came out
for this round and was looking good as he took
sixth in qualifiers. Pelchat stayed consistent
for the first moto and was able to finish in seventh
place. For moto two, Pelchat was looking solid
and finished in sixth place for seventh overall.
Adam Clark finished in ninth for the first moto,
but got an amazing start in moto two as he shot
off the line in second. Clark was immediately
under pressure and fell back for an eighth place
finish, giving him eighth overall.
Jeffrey Rastrelli rounded out the top ten in
moto one and hung on for ninth in moto two, giving
him ninth overall.
Harold Goodman took 11-10 finishes to round out
the top ten.

place finish but ran into mechanical issues in
moto two and ended his day in 11th overall.

while Jonathon Ven John finished in 13th and Derek
Swartfager, who had issues in both motos took
14th.
