Walsh's
#16 Jeremy Lawson rounded out the Top 5
in Moto 1, but in Moto 2, Lawson charged
his way into the 2nd spot with the fastest
laptime of the Moto, but just fell short
of a Podium finish in 4th Overall |
Walsh Race Craft’s Jeremy Lawson was looking
solid despite the muddy conditions as he charged
off the line behind Joel Hetrick. Lawson moved up
to the number four position, but the muddy conditions
caused visibility issues for him and he began to
fall back and finish in fifth.
In moto two, Lawson came off the gate in fourth
and battled it out with both Chase Snapp and Thomas
Brown before landing in the number two spot. Lawson
began to gain a ground on leader Josh Upperman,
but could not close the gap enough to make a move.
Lawson recorded the fastest lap of the moto in
lap ten with a time of 01:35.011, but his fast
pace would not put him on the podium and Lawson
would have to settle for fourth overall.

Janssen
Motosport's #123 Nick DeNoble had an impressive
1st Moto charge as he went from last place
to a 6th place finish & in Moto 2, Denoble
once again battled his way into a Top 5
Overall Finish |
Nick DeNoble was in dead last off the start in
the first moto and made one of the most impressive
charges of the race to make his way into the number
six spot before crossing the finish line. DeNoble
was able to get a better start in moto two as
he came off the line in sixth. DeNoble battled
for several laps with Jeremie Warnia before he
was able to pull away and work his way into the
top five before crossing the finish line. DeNoble’s
two solid motos and impressive charge allowed
him to round out the top five overall; his second
best finish on the season.

Hetrick
Racing's #88 Joel Hetrick finished an impressive
4th place in Moto 1 & again in Moto
2, Hetrick was on the move challenging Snapp
for the third spot before a mechanical issue
halted his charge for a 6th place overall
finish |
Joel Hetrick was in mid-pack off the start in front
of Jeremy Lawson. Hetrick and Lawson battled it
out for most of the moto with Hetrick and Lawson
swapping positions and the midway point, but Hetrick
battled back and finally made the pass on Lawson
two laps before the checkered flag and held it to
the finish line for fourth place in moto one.
In the second moto, Hetrick was looking strong
off the start and he shot off the line in the
top three and took over second for a time when
Thomas Brown fell back. Hetrick ride in the top
five for several laps, but a mechanical failure
put him out of the running with only two laps
to go, giving him 13th in moto two. Hetrick’s
impressive fourth place finish in moto one helped
him to finish with sixth place overall.
Mushin Racing’s Travis Moore put together
two consistent motos, taking tenth in moto one
and working up from the back of the pack in moto
two to take a seventh place finish. Moore’s
10-7 finishes gave him seventh overall.
Devin Heimes held on for a ninth place finish
in moto one and held on for twelfth in moto two,
which put him in eighth overall.
Adam Clark put in an impressive first moto, coming
from the back of the pack to take a respectable
seventh place finish in moto one, his best moto
finish of the season so far. Unfortunately, moto
two did not go as well for the rookie pro. Clark
ended his moto with a 14th place finish that put
him in ninth overall.
