#1
Dustin Wimmer just missed a spot on the
Podium with a 4th place finish |
Dustin Wimmer would also start out in mid pack
and work his way forward. Wimmer would eventually
round out the top five in moto one. Wimmer would
come back strong in moto two and hold off a charge
from Jeremy Lawson to finish in fourth, giving
him fourth overall as well. Wimmer is still sitting
second in the pro points chase, but is 40 points
off of teammate Josh Creamer.
Walsh Racecraft’s Jeremy Lawson was on
a mission in moto one. Lawson would start out
in mid pack but he would lay down some incredible
lap times and work his way around Suzuki’s
Dustin Wimmer to take over the number four spot
at the midway point and hold it all the way to
the checkered flag. In moto two, Lawson got off
to a mid-pack start but worked is way up to fifth
before reaching the checkered flag, allowing his
to round out the top five overall.

#10
Greg Gee tied a season best 6th place finish
at Red Bud after battling up front early
in both Motos |
Greg Gee made his return to AMA ATV MX for the
first time since Millville because he has been
focusing on winning a championship in the Canadian
Motocross Nationals (CMRC), and in his return,
he looked faster than ever in moto one by coming
on strong with a second place start, but he would
fall back when Josh Creamer came calling. Gee
would go high in a corner and bobble, which would
allow Creamer to get by. Gee would hold on to
the number three spot for several laps before
he would come under attack again and drop to the
number six position. Gee again looked strong in
the second moto as he held on for another sixth
place position, giving him sixth overall.
Can-Am/Motoworks’ Jeremie Warnia put in
a solid effort to take an eight place finish in
moto one. Warnia was looking solid again in moto
two as he would bring home a pair of eighth place
finishes, giving him seventh overall.

#13 John Natalie
scored the fastest laptime in Moto One
as he charged his way through the pack
to claim a 7th place finish
|
#13 John Natalie passed Wimmer
in Moto 2 & took over the 4th spot before
his charge ended with an issue in lap 8 |
Can-Am/Motoworks’ John Natalie, Jr., who
appeared to have some issues off the start, made
a hard charge all the way from the back of the
pack to claim the number seven spot as he crossed
the finish line. Natalie came on strong early
in the second moto as well, but encountered issues
lap eight that brought an early end to his day.
Natalie would still round out the top ten overall
despite his bad luck.
|
Canadian,
Richard Pelchat, made his AMA Pro ATV MX
debut for 2010 & he finished an impressive
8th Overall |
Canadian racer Richard Pelchat came out for round
ten and would finish in a solid ninth in the first
moto. Moto two would be a repeat for Pelchat as
he would again finish in ninth place, giving him
eighth overall.
Pat Brown looked consistent as he would go 10-10
for a ninth place overall finish.
Nick DeNoble, who was injured at round nine,
was looking very good as he was in the top five
off the start, but he fall back to finish in fifteenth
in the first moto. DeNoble would have better luck
in moto two as he came off the line in mid pack
and worked up to a seventh place finish, giving
him eleventh overall.
