Chad
Wienen just missed the Podium with a 4th
Overall, which has him tied for 4th in points
with Josh Upperman at 296 pts |
Can-Am/Motoworks’ Chad Wienen worked his
way through a bit of traffic in moto one to challenge
Josh Creamer for third, but was unable to get
in a position to make a move, which would leave
him with a fourth place finish.
Wienen came off the line in a strong third in
moto two and would hold his position from start
to finish. Wienen would try to close in on Natalie
late in the moto, but to no avail and would finish
moto two in third. Wienen’s 4-3 was enough
to earn him fourth overall.

Once
Again, Baldwin's Josh Upperman grabs another
Holeshot in Moto One with Suzuki's Dustin
Wimmer & Joe Byrd Riding School's
Joe Byrd in third.

PEP's
Josh Upperman would take the Moto One Win,
but a 9th place finish in Moto 2 would earn
Upperman a 5th Overall Finish on the day |
Baldwin Motorsports’ Josh Upperman grabbed
the moto one holeshot and led the race from start
to finish, taking a, what seemed to be, effortless
moto one win. “I got a great start and did
my best to hold on to the lead. Hopefully I can
do it again in moto two,” said Upperman
in between motos.
Unfortunately for Upperman, he did not get the
start he was looking for in moto two and wasn't
able to make-up any ground on the lead as he would
finish moto two in ninth place for fifth overall.
Walsh Race Craft’s Jeremy Lawson got off
to a mid-pack start and would have to work for
his eighth place finish in the first moto. The
second moto would go much better for Lawson as
he would start out in the number four spot. Lawson
would battle with Dustin Wimmer before falling
back to round out the top five in moto two.

Walsh
Racecraft's Jeremey Lawson goes 8-5 for
6th Overall
|
DWT's
Jeremie Warnia goes 7-6 for 7th Overall |
Can-Am/Motoworks’ Jeremie Warnia was looking
solid and consistent in the first moto. Warnia
would battle with Natalie and Thomas Brown before
crossing the finish line in seventh place. Warnia
would put on a strong showing again in moto two,
and would battle once again with Thomas Brown
before taking a sixth place finish.

Yamaha's
Thomas Brown flying high with Can-Am's John
Natalie in chase in Moto One with Brown
finishing 8th Overall, which has him sitting
in 6th place in points with 262 pts |
Yamaha’s Thomas Brown was doing well in
the first moto, but would fall back when John
Natalie and Jeremie Warnia would come calling
and finish in sixth place. In moto two, Brown
was looking consistent as he left the gate. The
number 84 Yamaha would again battle with Jeremie
Warnia before taking a seventh place finish in
moto two.
Pat Brown started things off on the slow side
in moto one as he would make his start near the
back of the pack. Brown would redeem himself late
in the moto to take a ninth place finish. Pat
Brown would do better in moto two as he would
claim a solid eight place finish before reaching
the checkered flag.
