Chad Wienen makes the pass on his way to
a 2nd place finish |
Chad Wienen made a hard charge working his way
back from a mid-pack start to take a second place
finish. Wienen looked strong as he worked his
way through traffic, picking off the competition
one by one.
In moto two, it was almost a repeat performance
for Wienen as he would come off the start just
out of the top five and put on an incredible charge
to claim a solid second place once again. Wienen’s
2-2 would put him in second overall for the day.
“We’ve all been working really hard
and everything is coming together. I had two solid
motos today and I felt really strong. It’s
really great to see both me and my teammate on
the podium today,” said Wienen.

Can-Am's
#13 John Natalie finished out Moto one in
4th place with #1 Dustin Wimmer making the
pass in the final two laps of the race |
John Natalie was in a strong third off the line
and eventually took over second, but he would
fall back when Chad Wienen and Dustin Wimmer would
challenge him. Natalie would hold on and claim
a fourth place finish in moto one.
The Can-Am/Motoworks racer was on a mission for
moto two and determined to get on the podium.
Natalie shot off the line in third and would hold
strong for the entire moto to take third place.
Natalie’s consistent 4-3 finishes would
give Natalie the final spot on the pro podium.
“It feels great to be up on the podium again.
I have to thank my mechanic and the Motoworks
team. They have been working really hard and it
is paying off. I also have to thank all of the
fans for coming out to support us,” said
Natalie from the podium.
