The 2009
Grizzly 550 ATV features a unique front
fender storage compartment which is
great for keeping things dry while on
the trail.
|
The fuel tank on the 550 FI is located under
the seat to give the quad a lower center of
gravity and a more nimble feel out on the trails.
The Yamaha Fuel Injection compensates for elevation
and temperature changes up to 15,000 feet.
The Grizzly 550 FI also features IRS suspension
that includes 5-way pre-load adjustable shocks.
The shocks are also mounted lower on the a-arm
to again promote a lower center of gravity and
more stable feel. The “Wide Arc”
suspension utilized in both the 550 and 700
increases the Grizzlies stance by 5 inches.

CV boot material is used as well for greater
durability |

second to none. It includes a super plush seat
with 6 inches of foam. The gate style shifter
is left hand operational to allow for easy shift
and throttle control while on the move and it
