If you do not own an ATV or Side-by-Side, there
are many ATV & SxS / UTV tours and rentals
companies in St. George if you need a ride or
want to go on a tour. ATV Adventures in St. George,
UT offers 2-6 hour ATV tours that include machine
rental, helmets, eye protection, gloves, and certified
guides and certified instructors who are CPR and
First Aid Certified. Since 95% of their clients
are first time riders all of their ATVs are automatic.
They have Honda Rancher Utility ATVs & Can-Am
Outlander Utility ATVs to choose from. The prices
range from $105 - $250 depending on how long of
a tour you want to go on and the time of the year.

If you do choose to rent an ATV or Side-by-Side
it will not have to pay to register the vehicle
you are riding with the state of Utah. By law
all OHVs that enter Sand Hollow State park are
required to be registered. The cost 12-month permit
is $30 for a non-resident of Utah and around $20
for a Utah resident. A whip flag is also required
on all vehicles at Sand Hollow State Park.

There are many to places to stay around Sand
Hollow State park. There are plenty of hotels
in St. George to choose from, or if you want to
campout Sand Hollow State Park has accommodations
for both tent camping and RVs. Sand Hollow has
three campgrounds ranging from primitive camping
to full electrical and RV hook ups. The price
per night for the Westside Campground with hookups
is $28, Sand Pit Campground with no electrical
hookups is $18 and primitive camping is $15. There
are also bathroom and shower facilities. The Sand
Hollow OHV area is within riding distance of each
campground and is accessible by a tunnel.

The cost to ride at Sand Hollow State Park is
$75 annually or $10 for a day-use permit that
includes watercraft launches and OHV access. You
can tow your machines in or you may even store
your vehicles at Sand Hollows storage facility
for an additional fee.

Sand Hollow State Park is conveniently located
within driving distance of some of the most scenic
places in the United States. Zion National Park
is less than an hour drive from Sand Hollow State
Park and features many breath-taking views. Just
the drive though the park will amaze you! Located
less than a half hour away from the park is Snow
Canyon State Park, which is much like Zion National
Park but on a much smaller scale. There is also
Bryce Canyon, and Moab, which are both great examples
of Mother Nature’s art on earth.
