2012
Motoworks / DWT’s AMA Pro ATV Motocross
Race Team
::Continued::
Hetrick’s training has paid off and he
feels he is more than ready for the upcoming season
and putting his new Can-Am DS450 ride on the podium.
“I have been putting in some fast and consistent
lap times. We run a 30 minute moto and my times
are consistent every lap and they are about the
same as they were at the end of the season last
year. I’m really thankful to Johnny, Motoworks
and Can-Am. They really have a lot invested in
me and I’m going to do everything I can
to put them on the podium and not let them down,”
Hetrick stated.
Even though Hetrick has been working hard, he
still finds a little time to have some fun on
the side. “It’s pretty small town
where we are and not a lot to do besides practice,
but I have gone to the local RC car shop and spent
a little money there. I like to race my RC car,
it’s kind of a stress reliever at the end
of the day and it’s a lot of fun!”
said the number 88 rider.
As far as any predictions go for this season,
Hetrick is confident, but also realistic. “I
just want to be ready for every track out there
I have been training on a lot of different terrain
and at different tracks. Everyone wants that championship
this year, so I just have to go out there and
give it my all and hope to come out of it with
a championship,” said Hetrick.
