“I worked with students on whoops and jumps. I think that they learned a lot and Dade City was a great track to teach at. This is only my second riding school and I think we did a great job today,” said Madl of his contribution. Madl and Covil won’t be racing the nationals this year; Madel is stepping back  from the nationals and will be racing his local series at Dade City with Cam Covil. After is success in the AMA ATV MX Schoolboy Sr. (14-17) class Covil has decided to return to the national series next year when he becomes age eligible for the Pro-Am class.

There were around a dozen students in attendance at the Joe Byrd Quad Riding School Caleb Moore benefit. Since this was a benefit many of the pros had never taught a riding school before. Joe Byrd spent his day checking on each group giving pointers about riding to the students and giving teaching tips to the pros.

“Joe (Byrd) called and asked me if I would be interested and since Caleb was both a fellow racer and a friend I was all for it. This was my first time teaching, I helped the students with passing and Joe helped me be a better teacher. It was a good day,” exclaimed Josh Creamer of his involvement at the benefit.
