Jarrod McClure - National Guard / Polaris
Outlaw 450MXR ATV |
In 2009 Jarrod McClure was one of the busiest racers
in the business as he was bouncing back and forth
between the GNCC and WORCS series’. McClure’s
hard work seemed to pay off, however, as for the
2010 season, McClure inked a factory deal with Polaris/Yokley
Racing.
“William (Yokley) and I have been getting
the Outlaw set up and doing a lot of testing.
I have over 20 hours on my practice bike now and
I haven’t had any problems with it. William
knows a lot about the Polaris and we have a really
good set up,” said McClure.
One of the team’s biggest sponsors for
2010 is the National Guard, who has been involved
with Yokley Racing for several seasons. “It’s
great to have that level of support this year.
It really takes a lot of pressure off and allows
me to concentrate on racing,” McClure stated.

Although McClure has the support this season,
he will be not b racing both WORCS and GNCC this
year. “I’m kind of bummed about it
because almost all of the dates conflict this
year and it gets really tough racing on Saturday,
then flying across the country to race a few hours
later on Sunday. I want to concentrate on the
GNCC this year, but I am still going to try to
make a couple of WORCS rounds just because I really
like the series,” he said.
As far as spending time in Florida, McClure is
thankful for the chance to get in some seat time.
“There’s a lot of snow in PA right
now, so it’s hard to get out there and ride.
It’s been pretty cold here in Florida too,
but it’s not quite as bad, and being out
on the motocross track is a real work out,”
he concluded.

for Round 1 of the GNCC Series in Florida |
Even though McClure will be on a new machine
for 2010, with his new factory support, rigorous
training schedule, and focus on the GNCC series,
McClure is hoping for his best season yet, shooting
for a top five position at the end of the year.
