“The Goldspeed tires hooked up great and
the new FMF pipe makes great mid-range power,”
said Sanders. “When we came to the truck track
and they snuck around me. I just put my head
down and tried to put in a good pace. To me,
with all of the surgeries I’ve had, to finish
second shows we’re moving in the right direction.
This should lead to good things into next
season.”
In Pro Am, Sanders’ seat on his quad came
loose after he started second. After falling
back in the field, Sanders lost the seat for
a lap, and rebounded to finish fifth. Sanders
finished fifth overall in Pro Am points this
season.

“We got up to second, and I nearly lost my
seat and the seat was loose the entire race,”
said Sanders. “We tried taping it down, but
then it came loose again and I ran with no
seat. So we barely missed fourth. This has
been a difficult season for me health-wise,
so finish as consistently as we did is definitely
an achievement.”
Sanders will be training during the off-season
to ensure a successful 2016 WORCS campaign,
which kicks off in just over two months on
January 9-10th at Honolulu Hills in Taft,
California.
