Price, UT (11/11/2015) -
Robbie Mitchell embodies the quintessential
blue collar work ethic, and that paid off for
him finishing top three in the WORCS ATV Pro
Championship points race.
2015 proved to be a WORCS career best for
Mitchell with seven podium finishes, including
a second-place finish at Lake Havasu. While
pleased with his results, Mitchell is a true
racer at heart and he wants nothing more than
perfection.

top three in the WORCS Pro ATV class |
“It’s good to finish third, but at the same
time it’s driving me more for next season,”
said Mitchell.
Mitchell’s racing efforts are truly a family
affair. He is driven to success by his wife,
and his parents have helped him every race.
“If I do well, I bring money home, so being
able to take care of her really drives me
more than anything,” said Mitchell. “My parents
did a lot to get me to and from races. I’m
really grateful that they’ve been willing
and able to stick with me.”
Mitchell was the king of dead engine starts
this season, and his Lindsay Machine Engine
consistently started on the first kick, giving
him the bulk of the holeshots this year. “Lindsay
Machine Racing has built me great engines,
especially for these dead engine starts,”
explained Mitchell. “We pulled a lot of holeshots
of this year.”

Bill's season finale |
In fact, Mitchell pulled one of his many
holeshots this season in the WORCS finale,
but a failed wheel bearing relegated him to
a fourth-place finish while charging back
to the front.
“That was really frustrating,” said Mitchell.
“I wanted to end the season with a bang and
it wasn’t exactly the bang I had hoped for.
It took a few minutes to change the wheel
bearing in the pits, so we really gave the
race away. When we put it together, we did
it fast without a front rotor, and I almost
got back into third.”

Lindsay Machine Racing is part of a long
list of sponsors backing Mitchell this year.
“It’s impossible to compete at this level
without good sponsorship,” said Mitchell.
“DWT wheels and tires was huge this year.
I’m grateful they’ve stuck with me. Without
Tire Blocks, I wouldn’t have been able to
finish most of the races this season. ZBROZ
Racing with their EXIT Shock Line and ARS-FX
Suspension Components was a big help, too.
Everyone made a huge difference for me this
year.”
Mitchell plans to contend for the WORCS title
next year, along with some Quad X races, as
well as some local races when his schedule
allows.
2015 proved to be a big year for Mitchell
with a career best WORCS season finishing
third in points and becoming a married man,
and he is looking to carry his momentum into
2016 and go after the WORCS Pro ATV Championship.
