El Cajon, CA (4/27/2015) -
Duncan Racing’s Kyle Fuller claimed
victory in both the Open B and Sport 15-29 B
classed at round five of the 2015 WORCS series
in Hurricane, UT.
With near perfect racing conditions for the
fifth round of WORCS competition and the course
laid out for the weekend was a true off-road
style course. The terrain included rock beds,
sand dunes and rough and rutted sections across
the longest race track of the season at nearly
twelve miles long, but Kyle Fuller was on
top of his game.

win of the season in Open B |
In the Open B class, Kyle Fuller was toward
the back of the pack on the start, but by
the second lap, Kyle took over the lead and
recorded the fastest lap-time of the race
as he quickly pulled away from the competition
to take the win by a margin of nearly three
minutes over second place. “I wasn’t really
ready for the sand off the start, and I was
towards the back, but I was able to take the
lead pretty quick, and I just pulled away.
It wasn’t too rough out there yet; it was
starting to get choppy, but my ELKA shocks
worked great,” said Kyle, who has won four
out of five rounds.
In Sunday’s Sport B class, Kyle Fuller quickly
charged his way into the lead shortly after
the start. “My STI Tires hooked up great out
there. I ended up battling for the lead, but
the leader crashed right in front of me, so
then I was out front,” said Kyle.

lead with his fourth win in Sport B |
Once out front, Kyle charged his way to his
fourth win of the season to take over the
points lead. “It was a perfect weekend. I
can’t ask for anything better than that. I
have four wins in each class and I am really
stoked. I never expected it to happen like
that,” said Kyle.
In the Pro class, Garrin Fuller was looking
strong as he came off the start and was holding
down second place for the first lap. “I didn’t
get off the start right away, so I had to
work my way up into second place by passing
a couple guys,” said Garrin.

second spot in the Pro Main |
Garrin was doing well and looked as if he
could be on his way to his second straight
podium finish of the season when disaster
struck. “I hit something out on the course
and lost my rear brakes. I was coming up one
of the big sand dunes, and I didn’t know my
brakes were gone, so without any brakes, I
over jumped the dune and flat landed it, which
threw me off my quad, and I landed on my right
shoulder. I could hardly hang on after that,
so I pulled into the pits,” said Garrin.
Despite his crash, Garrin is expecting to
return for Cedar City. “It’s been a couple
days and my shoulder is feeling better already.
If it keeps going like this, I will definitely
be at Cedar City,” said Garrin.
Round number six of the 2015 WORCS series
will head to Cedar City, UT on May 22-24 where
Kyle Fuller is looking to continue his winning
streak and Garrin Fuller is looking to make
his return to the podium.
